         In het kader van levensduur verlengend onderhoud vervangt Rijkswaterstaat in de Verkeerscentrale in Velsen 14 bediensystemen. Naast vervanging van de bediensystemen in de Verkeerscentrale moeten ook aanpassingen plaatsvinden op het koppelvlak van de Verkeerscentrale met tunnels en brug(gen). De vervanging is vooral technisch van aard en voorziet in een oplossing door vervanging van een groot aantal ICT systemen en componenten in de bedienzaal en de technische ruimten van de Verkeerscentrale, tunnels en brug(gen).

         De opdrachtnemer zal onder andere ICT systemen met hardware- en netwerkencomponenten integreren en daarbij opdrachtgever specifieke software naast generieke software implementeren. Het succes van de opdracht is afhankelijk van wijze waarop opdrachtnemer omgaat met reeds door RWS gesloten contracten.
