        De gemeentes Sint-Oedenrode, Schijndel en Veghel zijn samengegaan in de nieuwe gemeente Meierijstad. Het gemeentehuis in Veghel wordt hiertoe inpandig verbouwd om werkplekken te creëren voor alle medewerkers van de drie gemeentes. Voor wat betreft aan te schaffen losse meubilair is besloten ca. 60 % van het benodigde meubilair nieuw in te kopen en ca. 40 % bestaand meubilair in te zetten. Het in te kopen meubilair bestaat voornamelijk uit nieuwe bureaustoelen, kantoormeubilair en zogenaamd representatief meubilair inclusief een deel refurbishment. Al deze items zullen geleverd moeten kunnen worden als „catalogus-product”, gezien de relatief korte levertijd.
