         De OFGV wenst middels deze aanbesteding 1 contractpartij voor het beheren en onderhouden van de ICT infrastructuur. Er worden diensten zoals netwerk, capaciteit, beschikbaarheid, werkplekken en (technisch) IT beheer ingekocht. Er wordt geen personele capaciteit ingehuurd.

         Eén van de doelstellingen van de OFGV is een operationeel goed werkende en betrouwbare ICT dienstverlening. De infrastructuur van de OFGV betreft het beheren (hosten) en onderhouden van kantoorautomatisering, netwerk gerelateerde software(componenten) en een aantal applicaties voor de bedrijfsvoering.

         Op alle onderdelen geldt dat de OFGV het ICT beheer (het technisch beheer) goed wil organiseren zodat OFGV hier weinig beheeractiviteiten aan heeft. Deze aanbesteding betreft zowel de netwerk infrastructuur als de kantoorautomatisering (waaronder het beheer ervan alsmede het (op termijn) vervangen van werkplekken).
